Calvary Chapel Melbourne
Calvary Chapel in Melbourne, Florida has a motto of “One Church in Many Locations” with a mission of spreading the teachings of the faith to remote churches at their additional campuses in Viera, FL and Sebastian, FL. Moving into a new Viera location, Calvary Chapel hired LMG to upgrade, relocate, and install the video system that supports this remote campus. Prior to the move, the Viera congregation was operating from a location in a local high school auditorium with a limited video system and capabilities.
Within a week’s timeframe to ensure the campus would be up and running for services over the weekend, LMG installed their existing and new video equipment into the location, including JVC cameras, Echolab switching system, Clearcom Intercom Station, and Avitech MCC-8004 multiviewer media command center.
In addition, LMG installed an RF distribution system throughout several areas in the new facility, utilizing a Blonder Tongue Laboratories’ modulator, which distributes the video and audio into a radio frequency, allowing broadcasting to monitors located in the hallways, classrooms, cafe, and bookstore.
